Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health

ANSIRH welcomes a UC student to work closely with Ushma Upadhyay, PHD, MPH, Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF. Dissemination Intern: This internship focuses on dissemination for papers from the Google Ads Abortion Access Study.

Tasks intern will work on: 

  1. Develop a dissemination plan
  2. Develop a brief summarizing results of the 4 papers from the study
  3. Design a webpage for the ANSIRH website
  4. Coordinate follow-up with study participants to share study results
  5. Develop blogs, videos or other pieces to further disseminate the research findings

  • Writing, design, proficient with apps like Canva and video creation

Skills desired:

  • Experience working in research, preferably reproductive health
  • Commitment to apply perspectives of communities of color to health issues
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Interest in a career in social science

Internship Location: Remote, but the ANSIRH office is in Oakland, CA

Language competency: English

Internship timeframe: Summer 2021, dates are flexible

Hours per week: 10 hours/week
