Health Equity Network of the Americas

Health Equity Network of the Americas (HENA) is seeking highly motivated student interns to provide support for projects related to research, evaluation, planning and/or policy development.

Tasks intern will work on: This role supports project related activities of HENA, including program development, refining health equity policy recommendations, communications and content creation, impact evaluation, event planning, and advocacy efforts.

Organization needs: Highly motivated and self-motivated students with a leadership edge and passion for global health, gender equality, or immigrant rights

Skills required: Undergraduate or graduate students interested in a career in public health or health policy

Language competency: Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required

Internship timeframe: Beginning February 2019. 3 or 6 month internships available

Hours per week: 15 hours

Financial support: $12.86/hr
