UCGHI Student Ambassadors at a Glance

An Overview of the Data

In September 2022, the UC Global Health Institute welcomed its fourth cohort of Student Ambassadors with 54 students from 10 UC campuses and Charles R. Drew University for the 10-month program. The Student Ambassador Program was created and piloted by UCGHI's Center for Gender and Health Justice and Center for Planetary Health in 2017 before it was centralized and taken to scale at UCGHI in 2019. To date, UCGHI and its Centers have supported over 300 student ambassadors across UC and Charles R. Drew University.
